While in Amsterdam, I got to spend some “me time” wandering the charming canals of the Jordaan. I haven’t had a solo trip in quite some time, but since I’m a go-go-go type of traveler and the rest of the family aren’t fans of getting 30,000 steps on a daily basis, I usually get to spend a couple of hours by myself exploring.
Amsterdam is the perfect city to just wander. Unlike Venice where getting lost is unavoidable but also a must, Amsterdam’s canals act as guides. At first glance, all the canals look very similar but each intersection has its uniqueness. After spending a couple of days in the capital of the Netherlands, I began to recognize my way around and my JORD wood watch made sure I didn’t leave Lyndon and Aiden alone for too long.
